Activity: The Secretive Skink (Summer Learning journey)

Task. On your blog list three pros (good things) and three cons (bad things) about working as a DOC ranger. At the bottom of your post, tell us whether you would like to be a DOC Ranger or not.

 The Pros or cons of becoming a doc worker.
Pros
The Secretive Skink

(1) you get to care for and protect nativie animals.

 (2) You get to learn how difrent animals are suited to difrent habitats.

 (3) you get to know and learn about how they survive and live.

Cons

(1) You may have to kill animals that are eatheir pests or put them out of there misiry.

(2) You would have to take alot of your spear time reasearching about animals.

(3) Not touching the poisines creatures and be careful of the ones that could bite or sting.


The reason why I would like to become a doc ranger is because I would get the experience of learning about different animals. Being with animals nearly every day would make me happy.

    Thank you for sharing these pros and cons!
    Just like any job, there are always going to be some pros and cons. The cons you have listed are very grim and scary. I totally understand why many are not interested in becoming a Doc Ranger.


    You are very brave to consider becoming a DOC ranger! It will be amazing knowing you are doing incredible and meaningful work everyday.
