Māori phrases


WALT; Ask and answer questions
S.C; We will be successful when we can ask and answer a range of different questions.

‘’He aha tēnei?’’ What is this?’’
‘’He rakiraki tēnā. ‘’That is a duck.”
“He ngeru tēnā.”    “That is a cat.”
“He makimaki tēnā” “ That is a monkey.”
Tēnei means (this is by me). Tēnā means (that by you) terā means
(that over there)
