S.C; We will be successful when we can ask and answer a range of different questions.
‘’He aha tēnei?’’ What is this?’’
‘’He rakiraki tēnā. ‘’That is a duck.”
“He ngeru tēnā.” “That is a cat.”
“He makimaki tēnā” “ That is a monkey.”
Tēnei means (this is by me). Tēnā means (that by you) terā means
(that over there)
WALT;count to 100
Be able to talk about numbers
Ask how many of something; ‘’E hia ngā kiore?’’ How many mice are there?
We will be successful when we can count to 100. Answer questions about
How many of something ‘’E rua ngā poaka?’’ There are two pigs.
