The WWF: World Wildlife Fund [Summer leaning journey)

TASK. Once you have watched the video, go to your blog and, using full sentences, tell us:
1) The name of the animal the WWF is working to save.
2) What the WWF is doing to help the animal.3) What, if any, success they have had protecting the animal.

The WWF (World Wild Life Fund) Is taking quick action toward helping Fresh Water Seals by building snow banks not only to be protected by human disturbances but to be protected by predators. If there weren't any snow banks then pups would be born on open ice and they would have absolutely no protection of  getting really cold, human disturbances  or even predators! They are already starting to slowly get extinct so to lose half of that would be one step closer to getting extinct.

  1. Kia ora Nevaeh,

First of all, I love that you have written your answers out in full sentences, it helps the readers know what questions you are answering, great start! Yes, you're absolutely correct! The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is working to save freshwater seals but do you know what type of freshwater seal? Here's a clue, their name begins with "S".

You have shown good understanding about what the WWF are doing to save these freshwater seals, well done Nevaeh! It's amazing what people can achieve when we come together and offer a helping hand, don't you think? There is still plenty of work to be done to ensure that we are able to protect these animals but any efforts made will always be helpful to their well-being. You might be able to find out more information on the outcome of their supportive projects here:

    Keep up the good work,
